  • CHaving a child with Down syndrome is full of challenges and accomplishments. Common frustrations and frequent highs and lows can all lead to exhaustion. By taking some time out to care for yourself, you can regain your energy to enjoy your child and attend to his or her needs.


  • Our Special Needs Respite service offers:


    We can offer the family of a Down Syndrome child respite care which is short term care and helps a family take a break from the daily routine and stress. At HomeHelp.ie we work with you and your social worker to address the specific needs, responsibilities and priorities of your child and carefully construct a respite program based on these unique requirements. Respite care is recreational and does not include therapy or treatment for the child with the disability.
