Self-Employed Carers
You may wish to avoid paying on-going Agency fees and decide that a once-off placement fee better suits your financial situation.  We are happy to accommodate you.

Some of our Carers work as independent contractors and are self employed.  When the carer is registered as self-employed then it is their job to ensure that their Tax and PRSI contributions are paid.  This in turn will relieve you of any employer obligations, and ongoing Agency fees.

Contract Carers
Where a Carer is employed through our Agency, we at HomeHelp.ie are responsible for all their insurance, payroll and benefit requirements. You or any family member (whoever is the Bill payer) can significantly reduce the cost of this service by claiming Tax Relief at your standard or marginal rate of Tax either 20% or 41% respectively.
